I really do wonder if Ransom married her to lock her down from other possible suitors. He sure as hell didn't act like a man who valued marriage or his wife. If she had been alone in the shop that day or had miscarried the twins, would he even have cared that he saw her? Cared enough to be sorry, to want to make amends?
I want her to be with someone who loves, respects, and appreciates her...and so far Ransom is batting zero where convincing me is concerned.
Yes, he did. He definitely didn't value her. He liked the idea of marriage, the 'fun part' of it. I think he was more upset that things were being 'withheld' from him when there was a good reason. Harlan has a lot more to say to him so they weren't finished with their conversation. As proud as Harlan is with Ransom's growth, he has such a long way to go.
And definitely! Ransom isn't winning any points yet.
