Thanks a lot, Galadriel..."- Well, she can only do so much ;) It did keep Saruman from finding the ring right off the bat after all, gave Boromir enough time to catch up and get to Mel, kept her alive a little bit longer... you know ;P Also, I'm not entirely sure the orcs would have tried to take the ring. I imagine the gloves came off somehow as the cuffs were going on and they saw the ring, but didn't dare touch it, but told Saruman about it instead. Maybe. Not entirely sure there (just like Mel ;P).
"Has she ever loved a guy before Boromir? Or no?"- I don't think she has. I think she's been on dates, she probably had a boyfriend or two, but really loved someone the way she loves him? No, I don't think so :)
