    Wow. I liked the first chapter, but this turned into so much more than I was expecting. What an interesting tale on Polyjuice, on Sirius’s role in the first war and the effect it had on him. On his relationship with Regulus. On Remus’s relationship with religion. The prayers before the transformation, and the fact that Sirius finished the sentence for him, were so poignant.
    And this way of giving a worthy farewell to Regulus was so emotional, too. It always struck me as awfully unfair that Sirius didn’t know of his brother’s change of heart. Thank you for fixing that. This was beautiful.
