    I am still waiting on the part where Izuku checks if he is able to use their quirks or if the illusion is just cosmetic.

    Or the time Izuku write "VIllain" on the shirt to see how things play out.

      If he wrote villain, the best case scenario is that they immediately assume he is villain, but also can see that he's not apart of the league, which would be almost as bad as just walking in on his own.

      The illusions do seem to be purely cosmetic, specifically as mental projections. In proper terms, the words he writes of shirts serve as pseudo cognitiohazards that effect the mind of whoever reads them. As shown by Shinsou and Eri, anyone how doesn't read the text won't be effected, so just coming into the room at the wrong angle, or speaking before everyone in the room has read his shirt, would screw up his disguise.

      What isn't revealed is whether his illusions can cause psychosomatic effects on other people, such as if he could paralyze Iida by turning into Stain and then licking Iida's blood in his view. Iida knows that this should paralyze him, and knows what that feels like, so he might actually be paralyzed because that's what he believes should occur (it would also traumatize the shit out of him, so best not to test that in that way).

      He could, if he wants to temporarily infiltrate somewhere, write "Believable disguise" on a shirt. It wouldn't work if there were multiple people in the room, as they would all see it differently, but no one would question him unless they either talk about him, or if he does things that no one is allowed to do. They'd also never work out it was him, even if he did get caught, because his quirk effects what people believe, and not what they see. (Meaning that if he disguised as Bakugou, and then stood next to Bakugou, people would believe that he's the real Bakugou even if he himself told them otherwise).

      I do find this quirk interesting, wonder what it would be like if he discovered it earlier. It's an objectively weak and kinda dumb quirk, so I don't think it would change his treatment much, but it does have it's uses.

        Also, what was that where Shinso was in class 1-A? Which shirt was in effect?

        Was the Mustache disguise? if so why did people believe that Ojiro was the impostor?
