    Thanks! It didn't feel right to do a really black and white take on Miles and Manfred's relationship in this fic - part of what makes abuse so ugly is how complex the relationships it creates can be, and I wanted to acknowledge that to the best of my abilities. I'm glad you enjoyed it!
