The logical part of my brain fully understands that your works are not posted just for me. They are not special little treats made for me and me alone, but the other part of my brain refuses to see reason and always sees new posts as personal gifts and I don’t have the heart to set my brain straight.
Bearing that in mind…. I just finished reading this series again (I’ve lost count) and when I saw the “next work” button at the end of Frenzy, I nearly cried. I was so excited to see that more had been posted, and this definitely did not disappoint.
I know Squall doesn’t really like the attention, but he definitely deserves recognition for fixing a serious problem. Even if he was doing it for selfish reasons, like to keep Sora and Riku safe (I know that’s not the only reason but that probably plays a huge part in it), he’s still offering a solution to a situation that had previously been neglected and he deserves recognition and appreciation for it. His mom and mama would be so incredibly proud.
I did however crack up at how he handled the personal questions toward the end of the interview. Answering multiple questions with the word wolf is such a fucking Squall move 🤣🤣. As if it explains everything. I mean it does, but still. As for the footage of Sora for the studio version, I hope Sora really leans into it and uses it as an excuse to somehow turn it into more footage of Squall. “Yeah I’ve got the best brother in the whole world” and then he just lists a bunch of reasons why. In my head, they do a special “60 Minutes” with Sora and it’s just him talking about Squall. That would really irritate him in the best way hahah
I am very curious to see how the actual parent-teacher conferences go, as I can imagine a few different scenarios. Will Squall sit back and let Namine handle them while he observes? Will he do them, very reluctantly, with Cloud watching on in amusement? Will Siegfried go for Seifer and Hayner both? Will he ask Yen Sid to come in and be Sora’s “parent” or will Sora jokingly make him talk to himself in a mirror while Cloud, Riku, Ven, Vanitas, and Namine all laugh loudly in Squall’s office?
Also very excited to hear news on Sephiroth and Zack! I know the reunion with Cloud, Namine, Ventus and Vanitas will likely be dramatic but hopefully it will be a good thing. I do worry about Hojo… that probably won’t be fun.
I know you probably can’t answer this… honestly, I don’t want you to, because spoilers and stuff, but like. Are Hojo, Braska, and Gothel linked somehow? I feel like there’s a connection there and I just haven’t pieced it together yet. I look forward to finding out what’s going on with all that too.
It’s very interesting that the news brought up a story about a grove… I did see another commenter point out some possible foreshadowing about Sora and the new grove. That’s an interesting little tidbit to pack away for later. At this rate, I feel like I need to start from the beginning and start a list of all the little things I notice that could be a connection…
Anyway. Thank you for the new post! I’m so excited to see where this series will go, and to see what other sort of shenanigans these characters will get into <3

I forgot about Rin. With her newfound freedom (hopefully soon!), she comes to the parent-teacher conference for Hayner <3 (this is speculation. Don’t tell me a thing!!)
Also… wasn’t it mentioned that Kairi had ties to Ansem? What if he shows up for the conference and it puts Namine in a very weird and uncomfortable situation??
I was also going to make a joke about the chickens needing security 24/7 if word gets out about the new grove hahaha. Squall will probably need nerve medication.
This was just a cutesy little thing but the way I picture Squall is very much so how he looks in the liverpepper universe (I hope you know what I’m talking about). Like I imagine him with super long hair, like probably middle of his back, and I imagine that he usually has it braided or in a ponytail. (Maybe Mama taught him how to braid and it’s something he does to keep her close) And I can just picture Namine letting Cloud practice braiding her hair so he can braid Squall’s hair.
Of course, all of this is just me yelling my thoughts into the void so they aren’t rattling around in my head. I don’t want anything I say to accidentally influence the story or your thoughts. I’m literally just hear to flail around and scream 😅🤣

First off, thank you for reading. We really appreciate it! The reading and the rereading. ^__^ We hope you enjoy the new weekly posts for a while.
Squall!... Squall has opened a door, consequences be damned. It was for Cloud. Then it was for Namine. For Sora. For Hayner.... he's sick to death of bullshit especially when his over active witch mind sees that all could be solved with simple solutions. He does deserve the praise he's getting but he's still annoyed by it. It's getting in the way of his work. His mom would totally be proud of him, but i see him as being just like her. She too, would have sighed, grumbled, and taken care of business.
Squall still has no idea who thought it would be a good idea for him to be interviewed. Seems like a legit bad idea but it was actually wonderful. There were many familiars truly enraged or terrified over what happened and Squall being the angriest... resonated. They're kids are safe if he's there because he's clearly not going to put up with it. Many families (mostly familiars and hybrids) were going to pull their kids from school and Squall doing this interview persuaded them to give the academy another shot.
There are so many parent-teacher conferences to come. We tried to break them up to get a good overview of many of them without it being....all.. twenty something interviews. I won't ruin the surprise of who comes and goes!
Sephiroth and Zack... Vincent and Nanaki.... There's going to be alot of tears and relief..
You get no spoilers! But we love listening to your guesses. It's kind of fun to see what some people immediately predict and then the things that come out of no where.
Rin is a good mom... and i love that about her. She was basically just handed a witch baby and she went.. cool, this is mine now. Hayner loves his mama xD
You know, we decided that soon we will be starting a side series of one shots based on snippets and small scenes that are cool background stuff, but... there isn't really a spot of them in the main story. You might definitely find a one shot in Kairi's POV one day on that exact topic.
Okay look, i'm not giving you any spoilers here, but i'll tell you.. Squall's chickens are about to need some security for real..... XD
You know, i think i tend to picture like... a KH2 looking Squall personally but you are not wrong with the Liverpepper aesthetic either. (i love that one too) but you know there's is an artist on tumblr, who was sweet enough to do art for me ( haruyukihana.tumblr.com ) from part one and it was fantastic. I like to see them a little like that now, but perhaps Squall with longer hair now. Also... maybe somethings are just vague enough to let everyone have their own interpretation.
The hair braiding! How dare you kill me that that. That's freaking adorable.... We love hearing the thoughts you yell, and we thank you again for reading.

The community needs to see that someone actually gives a damn about their kids, and I’m glad it was Squall. Sure, he’s grumbly and doesn’t like people, but that honestly shows that he’s not doing it for publicity or notoriety, and that means so much more. Like he’s really just doing it because it’s what he believes in, it’s what’s been instilled in him from a young age. His mom likely would have taught him (and Sora) from day one that familiars are just as important, if not more so, as witches and they should have the same rights and protections.
After all these parent-teacher conferences, Squall is going to need a drink. That, or he’ll lock himself in the bathroom and finally use some of those fancy soaps and things that his friends bought him. Sora gets it, but he’ll still laugh his ass off at the idea of Squall with a face mask and cucumber slices on his eyes.
I know that so far we’ve really only seen Rin through Hayner-vision, and he’s of course going to paint her in the best light, but I love her very much too hahaha. I too would probably react similarly if someone handed Hayner to me. KH2 is my favorite game and Hayner is probably my favorite secondary character. I just love him so much.
I’m excited to see what goes on in the side series. I love little slice of life things like that, so that will be cool!
THE POOR CHICKENS!! Hahaha they’re just out here trying to live life, doing chicken things, they don’t need the added stress. The egg production is going to suffer, and Ventus and Vanitas aren’t going to like that
I’ll definitely have to check out that artist! It’s always cool to see what the artist or author intended, even if that’s not what I picture in my head. Definitely gives more understanding to what I’m reading hahah

All in all, Squall claims that he's a terrible teacher but he's really not. He's been teaching Sora for years. Now it's just that his classroom got a little bigger. And this also not so different from Cloud. Those kids are his responsibility now. They're his, and he has to protect them. Mean's he's got alot of work to do. Everyone seems to want his attention too XD
We're also excited for the side series though i'm not sure when we'll start posting it. Hard to say. Maybe we'll take requests at some point but we might be a long way off from there. There's a couple scenes we wanna do for sure.
I honestly.. love everyone's concerns for the chickens.... They'll have an advocate soon.
