    I'll place a bet on waiting until Aether falls asleep so he doesn't freak out, plus time to evacuate Lumine. Then it's On. I'm talking Zhongli standing in the center of the village and like clacking his teeth and BOOM village leveled.
    Aether ? Catching a break ? I don't think so. *punts him in the way of a roaring dragon while in excruciating pain and watches it unfold with maniacal laughter*
    the pain, god the PAIN of this chapter. Why do none of them realize they're very big and very frightening and also, oh yes, *gods*, and literally nobody even asked Aether if he'd like to come here. Hope Tartaglia is going to put some sort of order into that
    Maybe Lumine is going to make an appearance ? I kinda want her to yell at Zhongli. That would be hilarious. Oh actually maybe they'll evacuate her and she'll come back to participate. She strikes me as someone with a lot of pent up anger. And then once she's set the mayor on fire she'll yell at Zhongli and go down in history. He's a puppy anyway, he'd absolutely let her yell at him. In public even. In front of Xiao and everything, while Xiao hesitates bc this tiny thing is yelling at his master but she's kinda right and Zhongli has been an idiot, Tartaglia cheering in the background. Hilarious I tell you
    Also big fan of Xiao-Childe friendship. Threatening each other with painful death is a mark of affection and they are bffs you cannot change my mind
    Your bondmates system is interesting too. We get what it's supposed to be like now, and in retrospect I see why Aether was overwhelmed by Zhongli when only one half of the ritual has been completed, with Aether making himself vulnerable, since he is bonded to Zhongli and Zhongli is not bonded to him. It's all coming together. Hopefully Aether can catch a real break this time now that that's sorted out. Don't worry son Tartaglia will protect you from overeager dragons
    Also ??? Zhongli ??? seeing a pretty boy in the sun and immediately losing his entire mind ? tch tch tch. Puppy behavior. Between that and the food thing it's obvious you really have no idea what you're doing tho ? It would be funny if it didn't result in Aether's state of constant terror. Maybe do some research next time, before bringing a fragile human into your home without even asking him first if he would like that.
