   That actually reminds me of a comic I saw recently in which Superman actually threatens to kill the joker when joker shows up in metropolis

   I actually recently showed my friend death in the family and we were fucking floored by that part

   My friend and I just recently watched part of holy musical Batman where they just kill the joker off screen so I was laughing at your tags and note

   I’ve never actually thought about the power rings like that before but it makes sense looking at canon. There’s also the fact that green lanterns have a lot more leeway in what they can do since their rings depend on strength of will and not a specific emotion like the others. I always thought that the strength of the other rings depended on how well the user understood the specific emotion and that they would have to feel that emotion in a certain capacity to use the ring
