   nine-year-old-you is utterly right, fighting in an abandoned middle school would be awesome. I love how the environment and the Jokester suit each other. they're both squirrel-ly and full of twists and turns and if you know your way around, pretty easy to understand.

      Ahaha that is the BEST simile! Completely brilliant. Thank you. :D It still appeals to me, obviously.

      I've seen a fair number of fight scenes staged in 'high schools,' on shows like Buffy and its ilk, but far too few in middle and elementary, which I feel like would be more fun because of the greater incongruity. Hm. Underexpoited niche! ;D
