    The irony of Sam being Lucifer's perfect cage, made for him, yet sucking the power out of him is so great oh my gosh yesssss. I also just like how Sam calls out the orders to Dean, like some kind of kitchen code. Sam saying he's the last person anyone would want in church and that he may burst into flames upon entering, ouch. Everyone talking about how downright weird the brothers are is so entertaining, it's so fun to see how other people view them and make guesses as to their history or what's really going on. Dean only talking about Sam and the Impala is so peak /Dean/ I don't even know how to explain it XD

      one of the things I knew for certain heading into this fic was that I wanted sam and dean's diner to have diner lingo out the wazoo! it's such a fun thing and I think it hearkens back to classic supernatural vibes :D

        We don't really have these classic types of diners where I live, so that makes me even more of a sucker for it in the show, so to have it in the fic was an added bonus! And early seasons vibes never hurt anything ;)
