you’re one to talk! and no, thank YOU! <3

ME TOO it sucks! this dude has so much trauma, he’s gone through so much pain, and it’s treated like a joke a lot of the times? and then, he just doesn’t hold it against anyone? he just continues to be selfless and care for them. like…? BE NICE TO HIM PLEASE BE NICE TO HIM HE DESERVES IT SO MUCH :(
and that’s a good point about his seeing-is-believing mindset! yet another reason to love him. i have issues.

me too! good eye for detail, again! (this is also strengthened by the fact he visited Skylor in season 7 to talk about his parents!) ik a lot of people don’t like the way their relationship developed, and that’s anyone’s right! but personally i liked it. he genuinely cared for her, and it’s implied that he may have been the first person to care for her. maybe since her mother, maybe since…ever. he gave her a second chance because she deserved a better life, and he allowed her to walk away because he valued her choices. i love that arc very much.

YAY!!! TYSM <3 and it’s the highest of honors to talk with another being who thinks this way, hahahah!

HELP you just KNOW Wu would explode if one tried to explain the concept of non-binary to him 😭

    1. YOOOO!!! wanna be trauma buddies? We both definitely didn't choose the same character to project on and relate to :']

I think the hole reason people don't like there relationship is because of the hole shipping thing.. Honestly I was in that mindset for a while! But when you can take a step back and examine it.. they're just really good friends, like, dare I say, besties! It was even confirmed somewhere that the ship isn't Canon (DON'T QUOTE ME ON THAT I DON'T REMEMBER WHERE). I can just SEE them in the middle of a spat and someone else just steps in to try and break them up but just ends up insulting both of them and they turn to each other than back to the person and, without missing a beat, DESTROYS THEM.

AAA, SERIOUSLY darlin, ya NEED to get discord I will make a server for all my ninja Gremlins >:]

ME?! HAVING THE POWER TO UNALIVE A OLD CRUSTY BALD B****?! BET.

            1. Hey weird question and this might just be the sleep deprivation talking, but I just re-watched the pilot for ninjago (favorite arc because technically at the beginning it was Kai centered) and I have to ask. Did Wu never tell Kai or Nya that their parents used to be elemental masters? I mean its subtly implied at the beginning of the series that elemental powers were passed on through genetics (cough except Zane cough) but did Wu ever outright say to any of his students at any point of time was like "Hey your powers were inherited by your parents and oh yea they helped me fight and trap enemies like snake people and twins who literally F-ed with time." Like seriously, I can't figure out a logical reason why Wu didn't just say something about their parents in relation to their elements when he first met all of the ninjas......I dunno its just a weird thing I can't stop thinking about now. : I

(one of my favorites, too. it’s a very good arc!) nope! he did not. Garmadon even gives verbal confirmation to this in s4. he tells the Ninja that they never questioned where their powers came from; implying that Wu never bothered telling them. Wu finally said something in s5 to Nya. (which, of course, was not planned when the original 2 seasons where being created. Wu really gets the brunt of the retcon syndrome lol.) in the canon, there really is no reason for Wu to have kept such information from his students. especially considering Morro. he recounts that the kid was a descendant of a Master of Wind, but…did he ever tell him that? we don’t know. Wu remains a very frustrating (and alleged war criminal of a) teacher. this show about silly block people is insane, yk.
