    Thanks for the chapter :D I have some things to say but first of all sorry for taking my time, I had quite a backlog XD

    That introduction was a bit rocky, but expected considering the way it was handled by everyone here. At least they let Ben know beforehand that he was getting new partners, but with how it felt to Ben it never was going to be done smoothly, and it's not like I don't understand Ben's thoughts on the matter, not to mention that he's still a teen, it's just not a good first impression for anyone involved to see that happen. Not to mention that neither Rook nor Molly were able to get a word in until he left the office :/ At least they were able to get over said introduction quick enough and without much trouble, that's something.

    Rook and Molly bonding and eventually getting together was really cute, like extremily sweet. I absolutely loved every second of reading it XD I didn't expect Rook wanting to go to Ikea that badly, but I can't exactly blame him, it's a legend for me as well considering there isn't one where I live either XD
    Also, Rook used a Contraction ? O.o

    “I’d like that,” he responded, not totally sure if she was joking or not. “Do you want to get coffee?”

    I have to say that the interaction between the team, and mostly Rook, with The Ben 10 Show crew was pretty interesting to read as well as funny once the mood of the conversation shifted from antagonistic to friendly XD Also, Rook DID use a contraction XD

    It would’ve been easy to say no and tell Hokestar he wouldn’t be happy fulfilling the role of Gwevin. But after watching Deefus stroke his own ego after cowering at the consequences of his own mistakes, Rook couldn’t do easy. Whirling on Deefus, Rook said two words he’d never thought would leave his mouth. “You’re pathetic.”

    Someone gasped. “Did he just use a contraction?”

    Scout, I can't help but be so glad you're calling out Rook on his feelings, though from what I'm interpreting from the internal thoughts of Rook, I can't help but feel that Rook's love for Ben is more platonic than romantic, contrary to his feelings for Madison, which feel like romantic even if the actions they share aren't the most ubiquitous, that still feel like love, even if it's more of a subtle type :V
    Granted that'll apparently change for the next episode, but I hope it does for the better and not the worse :V
    Thanks again for the chapter and I'm looking forward for the next one :3

      The first contraction was entirely accidental, thanks for pointing that out.

      Rook's feelings about Ben and Molly are very ambiguous at this point. You're right in that Rook's feelings about Ben are very platonic right now. Molly... You are right in that it is a more subtle type of love but the nature of that love will be addressed in the next chapter. I may add in an author's note explaining Rook and Molly's relationship to avoid confusion. The tags may give some insight but there is a reason the relationships in the story are as they are.
