    I love making Dustin just the biggest dork tbh.

    I'm poor, so I live vicariously through fanfic.

    But also, I do have an entire formula written out for how much money Steve actually had saved through each period (Between both the money from his parent's, how much he had saved from various jobs (unlike canon I had him start working at 16 instead of 18) based on minimum wage in that era and an estimated price for how much he would've bought the home for in Indy in 1986. I have a massive special interest in trying to make things as accurate as I can in certain ways. But also, I didn't think anyone would have any interest in reading it, so I just left it out.
