    Oh! I rarely ever see soulmate fics extend past the meeting stage. It’d be cool if you could expand on the lore of it. You don’t necessarily have to explain the funky soulmate biology bc I’d also be pretty confused about that lmao but hmm… have you seen black mirror before? There’s an episode where couples go through multiple simulations, but it was all within a dating app to calculate their compatibility. In which case, a soulmate is usually believed to be 100% compatibility, yes? But they could go through stages of grief when they fight or disagree and wonder if they’re actually soulmates or it’s a cosmic joke, etc.

      Not sure if you read the WinterIron fic (next in the series) but I wrote that first and got more into the biology for soulmates in that fic and didn't wanna write it twice. XD also I haven't seen black mirror but that seems like a rather interesting episode! I might have to look into it, see what they did!
