    Edited at the beginning. Warning for ramble.

    So, Bruce likely isn’t hungry anymore. I don’t know that Damian’s bite would have allowed him to feed but Bruce specifically thought in Tim’s previous chapter that if he bite Tim they would be family and “he wouldn’t be hungry anymore” because familial/clan blood is so much more effective. So I have a few hypotheses/factors in my brain for what’s happening to Bruce.

    Is the blood enough to pull him out of his feral state or are there other factors at play?

    Bruce has been denying himself familial ties for so long (and was essentially in a weakened vampiric state/mindset) that he’s clearly been deeply affected too. Now that Tim offered him something that he never expected and Damian has chosen his clan over Talia’s claim… I don’t even think he’s thinking about it that clearly. He’s got two newly claimed sons, he’s deliriously happy and likely running mostly on instincts. He’s taking them somewhere safe and taking care of them.

    That got away from me. My point is that Bruce, despite his age and experience might be almost as affected by the bite as Tim.

    I think it’s possible that Damian is going to be the only one coherent enough to communicate when Dick and Jason inevitably find them.

     

    Another factor to consider; if any of their masks/helmet had a camera. Cameras were down in the cave but often they have mask cams (and were pointed at Tim or if they could access Tim’s cam) than they have more info. Don’t know if that’s good or bad. But it is significant because it provides some context for why they were left behind and Tim was taken with Damian.

      You, bring, up, so many, good points!! I wouldn’t have thought of that. (Btw I love rambles)

      I’m unsure about mask cams though, since Bruce does tend to turn these things off going the extra mile to keep his secret till this point.

      Though I have to admit, Bruce must be an insanely powerful Vampire to be doing this well while so very drained, with his family in the know, and him being bit more free with his drinking, and not necessarily having to hide it as much. I genuinely think the man might be OP looool

      Not that I’m complaining.

      But do you think, from instincts alone, would he be in a similar state to Tim or more hyper and protective with his instincts? He’s the clan head, and his first and foremost importance is the safety of his clan. I’d assume the role he’d automatically assume is watch, and I am doubtful he’d leave Damon in that role for however much he’s capable of it.

      But you never know, there may be different reasoning. I’m pretty shit at theorizing these things if you couldn’t tell xD

      I’d immediately cross out a possible theory without a second thought and then it happen looool

        Just answering a few of your doubts, dear reader. You're right about the masks. And yes, Bruce is very powerful lol besides being the Batman, he comes from an ancient bloodline, so that means he is more powerful than most vampires.
        He will certainly be focused on securing his clan, but also his love for his children (that he already considers all clan) is his biggest guider, so that might be a tip of what is coming😉
