    Whew, what an opening! Sounds like Alina owes the turtles her life.

    I love that they celebrate mutation day as a birthday, what a fun idea. Although the cake sounds pretty terrible! There's obviously a strong, loving bond between them all.

    I really enjoy the past and present being woven together in the same chapter, it makes for an interesting start and brings everyone up to speed with where the story will go from here.

    A very fun, energetic start to the story! Great writing :)
