      Also what does boffo and boffing mean ?

        'boffo' - pertaining to a theatrical production or movie, or a review of one - very successful or wholeheartedly commendatory, American slang (which is maybe why you didn't know it).
        'boffing' - sexual intercourse, also American slang
        I seriously thought both words were British. Live and learn.

          I’ve vaguely heard of boffing, prob would have guessed that one, never heard of boffo but I’m not British so maybe that’s why
