  1. Re reading the chapter, I have another question.

    So obviously Lupin is much more politically important than he was in canon. Does that mean people know he’s a werewolf? Or is it still not widely known?

    I say not widely because obviously Hogwarts professors know and I wouldn’t be surprised if Narcissa knew because she’s terrifying, but like do the kind of people who pay attention to the Black Regent know he is a werewolf?

    1. okay that's a really good catch- for the most part, people don't know (mostly because you'd never in a million years expect a werewolf in the Wizengamot, much less as the Black family Regent)

      Remus is hiding it in the sense that he's not going to be going around telling people, and if someone asks him point blank he'll look at them like they're crazy, but it's also not the hardest thing in the world to figure out- so it really is mostly that people just can't even fathom the idea in the first place

      (and yes narcissa suspects- lucius has no idea)
