      yeah I mean Snape is only like what 31-32 in Harry's 2nd year? And being played by a 52 year old Alan Rickman
      Alan Rickman was 45 when he played the Sheriff of Nottingham. Not easy to find pictures of him as a young man but if we are go with a younger looking Alan Rickamn for this Snape then the handsome dashing Sheriff with his lovingly feathered black hair and his fancy black clothes fits

        Ha, right! Your comment let me to search for pictures as well and I found some of him as the sheriff and when even younger. They fit!

        Well, we could make some adjustments from pics of his theatre and television drama days.
        Here are pics of him the right age. The Sheriff hair (without facial hair) seems to fit though.
