SOOOO many incorrect facts in this chapter. First, the most obvious one- Cyberdramon is Ultimate level, not Champion. Strikedramon is the Champion level for Monodramon's line. Second, the tournament was part of D-1 Tamers, the third game in the Wonderswan digimon games, and the 01 digidestined had a definitive part in it (their betrayal was actually the cause of Ryo's memory loss, according to sources gleaned from the Digimon wiki. Some fans seem to even get the impression that Ryo and Mimi had a "thing" at one point, but I'm pretty sure that's just fans being shippers), the Dark Spore infecting Ken was in Tag Tamers, the second game in the series (hence his physical absence in D-1 Tamers), and Ryo met Monodramon in Brave Tamer, the 4th and final game in the series. And according to information inferred in Anode/Cathode Tamer, the first Wonderswan game, right at the very beginning with the intro, Ryo and Taichi were e-mail buddies.
As for the chronology of the games, Anode/Cathode Tamer happens not too long after Adventure 01 ends, Tag Tamers happens immediately following the first Diaboromon incident (there's actually a scene in the movie/special where Ryo makes a cameo), D-1 takes place some indeterminate time after that (presumably a few weeks- Ken is sick from the dark spore during the tournament, and can only watch Ryo through his computer, and communicate via the original D-Terminal), and Brave Tamer takes place all over the timeline, earliest being in 1954, within the primordial Digital World (where Ryo meets Monodramon and ENIAC after waking up with memory loss), and latest being 2004, where Moon=Millenniummon breaks free from his shell and becomes ZeedMillenniummon. It is also in Brave Tamer that we learn that the Primordial Digital World was the basis upon which all other Digital Worlds were based. Also, at the end of Brave Tamer, as some sort of post-endgame bonus, Ryo has a card called PF Millennium, which allows Cyberdramon to digivolve into ZeedMillenniummon.
Also, slight misinformation about the D-Reaper: The D-Reaper wasn't created by the government, it was created alongside the Digimon in the Tamers timeline as a mechanism to weed out the Digimon who didn't evolve properly, preserving the scarce resources available at the time.
Another thing- The English version of Wallace is named Willis, not Willace. Willace isn't even a real name.
Sorry if I came off as a hard***, but since you stated you were going for accuracy in this fic, I figured I might as well be the one to enlighten you as to the canon behind Ryo's story.
