    Thank you so much for your comment! It really means a lot to me.
    I do have a very clear idea about the plot and how I want to write it. With many fics I feel like it all happens unrealistically fast, so I prefer to make feelings grow more naturally. They are such wonderfully complex characters, it's great to explore them <3 I like to think that Katara works as a sort of catalyst for the tension that's always been hiding below the surface in Mai and Zuko's relationship.
    Yeah, I do stick to the canon series (not the comics or LOK though, they don't exist to me!), with very slight deviations in what was only implied but not shown on screen. What happened Zuko's mother for example, or a certain "star-lit evening at Ember Island" that you'll hear more about at some point ;)
