        what dont you understand of the rest of my comment? Homosexuality was not accepted at the time, not even a tiny bit. Easy way to deal with it: make it an AU where homosexuality is accepted.

        I just personally like a tiny bit of realism, at least an attempt. This is just not my thing, the same way another Merlin fanfic set in the canon time where Merlin takes out an iPhone would not be

          Man you know some other historical inaccuracies? In middle-ages uk they did not speak any languages recognisable as modern English. Magic didn't exist. Dragons didn't exist. Would you prefer OP to say "I'm a sodomist", because as far as I know that's the only word that remotely referenced to being gay in the 1500s.
