Comment on become a living soul

  1. Ohhh we're really getting into the weeds now!! I love the tone throughout, you really have captured that almost-Regency-era feel of the dialog and the set pieces. Awaiting the next part of this like the next chapter of a serial - is Cassandra possibly still alive? How much does Delilah suspect about Imogen's magic? Once the charm wears off, how will they be able to elude Delilah long enough to attend the lecture with Liliana(??? LILIANANAAA, and a sanatorium, hoo boy), or is the woman more concerned with her affairs at the ziggurat, and is the French Revolution still happening??

So many questions I'm desperate to know the answers to, and we still have 3 chapters to go? Hell yeah. Thanks for writing!

Thank you so much!! I did realize that the serialized novella form is quite period appropriate, haha. To answer some of your questions, this story takes place in like 1813-1815... which I could definitely make clearer in a future edit, I don't think I've ever explicitly stated it! Also depending on how long-winded I am, we could get up to 5 more chapters? Desperately trying not to drag it out for more than 9 total. --Thanks for coming along on this wild ride!!
