Hello hello :) (I am for the record also flylikeatornado on tumblr and I do keep annoying you with asks and post replies about your writing and I'm only a little sorry!) I am a huge fan of basically everything you've written so far, I absolutely adore your other Lestappen fics and I do regularly lose my mind about the Gax one. I was following you saying you were writing this for a while and I was super excited about it, I can't lie - and it really hasn't disappointed either. Also, listen - it's easy to suspend disbelief and try to believe Charles as a good actor because above all he has the movie-star good looks. I did laugh at the fact that you made him a bit of a Timothee Chalamet figure, but what else was Charles ever gonna be, really.
Anyway, I really, really enjoyed this fic, there were times it made me make an audible aww sound, and I love your Max so so much because he remains very true to what we see of his personality while also being someone that has the potential to be better. Above all it was just very, very fun to read (also made me laugh out loud in several places), very well-sketched out, and I really should have seen the twist coming but I did not... of course Max remembered the spiderman helmet... of course!!!
Also, re: my personal tastes in Lestappen as I've realised, people need to put them on par with each other for me to enjoy them. I do not enjoy it when Max is so clearly in a better position (career, personal life, anything) than Charles, it is always more fun when they meet each other as more of equals and as a world champion and an Oscar winner they absolutely are that and so I enjoy and believe them as a couple so much more. Also, I think you did the Max POV really well - I'd absolutely read more of it from you.
