    I felt so gross while writing that scene. Valentine's got Alec believing what happened was technically consensual but Alec really did it to punish himself. He thought he deserved what Valentine did to him.

      This was pure coercion by valentine. He blamed and blamed Alec and took advantage of him by putting him down when he was at his lowest. It was written well... I feel like bleaching my mind so I understand what you're saying. It must be worse for you.

        I had to close my laptop after I was done writing. I wanted to move on to another fic but I guess I finally found the thing that made me nope out for the rest of the night 🤣

            I'm great! Sometimes I just need some time to process what I've just written. It'll be worse when I write the actual scene of the rape. It's gonna be technically dub-con since Alec does consent but it really is gonna feel like non-con.

            I've never written a soulmate fic before. I'll have to do some research but I hope to get that out by the beginning of August for you.
