I just wanted to come over here (believe me, that "Please read" non-fic will be gone as soon as the volunteers get to the ticket, lol) and lend my support after reading your honestly heartbreaking tumblr post on this whole mess. I just want to say how sorry I am that you have to go through all this, and for your first ever time posting fanfic too! I honestly don't know what I would have done had I gotten such a reaction to something so innocuous at your young age. Please understand that you did absolutely nothing wrong; people like the ones that are harassing you are called "antis" or "fanpol" (short for fandom police), and have been an unfortunate nuisance in fandom for years, but really, it's just age-old fandom drama repeating itself. Please do whatever is best for your mental health, which should always come first, even if it might include cutting your losses with regard to this particular fandom, as much as that sucks. This will not be the last time that you run into antis or fandom drama, but fandom is so much more than that. Find your people, find your corner of fandom and keep creating—Ao3 has your back, and so do a lot of other people. ♥
