    omg I'm so happy you pointed this detail out- I kinda envision Morro (like when he was alive for the first time) to be so invested with becoming the Green Ninja that he just never cared for anything that didn't help him reach that goal (hence why he can't really read or write, having never put aside time to do so and also just having no one to really teach him, especially before and after being under Sensei Wu's care, and hadn't used eyeliner before), also just considering the time frame he was alive in I'm not even sure eyeliner existed, but we don't really know :0
