absolutely wonderful writing! I've been on the hunt for a moon knight fanfic where the reader is an avatar, but I've found many of them fall short and don't quite portray the culture or god/goddess into the full extent that I want them to, however this was a pleasant surprise! I thoroughly enjoyed this! I think bringing in other pantheons is such a brilliant thing, especially with how beautiful hindu symbolism and art can be. maybe it's my mommy issues, but falling to your knees before a maternal figure is so so sad but also so so nice to read. I love the difference between khonshu: an antagonistic god who treats his avatar poorly, who obtains said avatars after swooping them up after nearing death, and durga: a smiling and maternal figure who offers comfort to her avatar, but also is a warrior.
I can't wait to see more interactions with Steven !! <3
