Comment on Law and Vengeance

  1. Thank you so much for reading and commenting! Yes, exactly, Alanna doesn't have any problem communicating with Thayet during this period because she doesn't associate Thayet with being the one to agree to Kel's probation. Though that doesn't stop Jon from occasionally getting piqued by this state of affairs because he can be a very prideful fellow.

Yeah, I don't think Thayet is the type to coddle Jon, though if a situation arises where he needs genuine sympathy or comfort, she'll give it, but she also isn't going to hesitate to speak her mind to him and challenge him. Which I think is really what Jon needs in a long-term romantic partner. With his strong personality, he really needs someone who is not afraid to be honest with him and stand up to him.

And you highlighted probably my favorite line in the entire chapter, so yay for that!

I'm so happy to hear that you love the way I write Jon and Thayet as a couple since they are one of my favorite Tortall pairings. Honest and loving is a good way to describe them, and I always try to include that sense of mutual attraction and passion as well. Because I think they have pretty excellent chemistry as a couple:D
