    Fantastic idea for a fic, beautifully executed!

    First off, love the idea of the TARDIS telepathically playing audiobooks for the Doctor so she doesn't make too much noise. Not to mention how domestic it all feels with Yaz walking in wearing pyjamas, having formed a habit of bringing both her and the Doctor tea. The whole opening was just wonderful.

    "Did that look cool? Probably. Maybe." - LOL, the Doctor couldn't be cool to save her life, and we love her for it. Love how she just wants to impress Yaz

    "(thumb holes! Brilliant human invention, were thumb holes)" - Very Doctory observation

    "oh, Yaz, should we go visit some penguins?” - I love this, very easy to imagine Thirteen getting overexcited at the prospect of meeting some penguins with Yaz.

    “Mosque of the Companions,” Yaz cut in, and the Doctor could hear the smile in her voice." - Oh, this exchange was just beautiful, the Doctor being so delighted to show something both futuristic and so familiar to Yaz. Very lovely idea too.

    Oh my god, the Doctor was too busy thirsting over Yaz that she fell down the stairs!! LMAO, Thirteen is such a wonderful diasaster.

    "Rassilon’s teeth, had she said that out loud?!" - RASSILON'S TEETH!! What a brilliant line!

    It was so sweet how worried Yaz was, checking so closely on the Doctor to make sure she was okay.

    “Shut up, Dan,” she mumbled grumpily.
    “I didn’t say anything!” he protested.
    “Well, you weren’t saying anything very loudly,” she snapped, stubbornly forcing herself to her feet." - LMAO, love this exchange!

    Absolutely lovely ending too, with Thirteen finally getting her head on straight after falling down the stairs and realising she should just finally give in and kiss Yaz.

    Brilliant chapter one, thoroughly enjoyed it. Now I'm off to read chapter two! Thanks for writing :)

      Okay okay I don't think anybody's picked up on the Rassilon's teeth thing yet, thank you for noticing!! I sort of figure that Time Lords are stuffy and have old timey swears - like REALLY old timey - and combined with the fact that the Doctor probably learned English a zillion years ago and the TARDIS is compensating, I wanted to Time Lord-ify some really old swears like zounds (God's wounds) and God's teeth, because I am that kind of nerd, lol.
