          Ok, I went back through the entirety of Dads to see if this is written down anywhere and....

          He does purr when sitting in a box in a sunbeam with Cloud.
          His purrs are like chocochick knockout gas.
          He goes off during *spoilers spoilers spoilers*.

          ...and there is no written record of him purring during hair grooming, but it 100% happens in my head. There is also a Baby Cloud + Daddy Sephiroth hairdo chapter with a very handsome result.
