    Itachi can be a very polite kid if he wants to. That being said, he doesn't :')

    I personally hc Sasuke liking kids but having no idea on how to interact with them. He really wants to be a positive influence on their lives but struggles with figuring out when to be strict, affectionate, or casual with them. And it's a whole lot worse with teenagers! He definitely borrowed a parenting guide from Sai at one point, lol. The worst part is that Sasuke would rather be affectionate right now and just hug his brother.

    I have so many more thoughts on this (particularly about Sasuke trying to be a positive influence and how it relates to his own traumas), but I am not entirely sure yet whether I want to throw them all into a future chapter of this fic. Hence, I'll leave this thought for now TwT
