    Wow, did not have "readers kind of okay with killing Johnny actually" on my 2024 Lifeline bingo card but you aren't the first to express this 😆

    You're right, we're in way too deep to turn back now! But wouldn't you like to see Cloud and Reader go undercover as a couple in elegant formalwear? Is this a good consolation prize? 🤭

    I'll let you in on a bit of a secret-what you've alluded to here is actually the secret point of the side quest-it's not really about Johnny's car (I mean, ofc it is) but it's actually slowly and quietly helping to bring Cloud and Reader closer together: they're slowly working more as a team, problem solving and planning, and yes-admiring and supporting each other in new ways as they get to know each other a better at each turn-not that they realize what's going on. They've ironed out their misunderstandings post-Damian, so this is just what these two need. So please don't be scared sweetie! The side quest is all fun, promise-I'm still beating back the angst with a broom for a while yet! 😆 I really think you'll like next week-a thrilling ruse in store! I'm sure nothing will go wrong, right? Surely. All according to plan. Couldn't possibly go wrong. 🤭
