aaaaah your description of cloud has me in a chokehold, it's so well put. because forgiveness is a fucked up road and getting "better" is an even worse one !!! cloud loves SO much and it's gotten him hurt so many times, but it's not like he can stop doing it.
two hurt men, hurting in quite different ways, and a big dog hurdling between them love this image so much that i tried (and failed, sadly) to figure out how to put something like this in the summary. fenrir is really going to be the glue holding them together in the early days. or at least, keeping things feisty haha
zack climbing up the mountain and coming out of the trees to greet cloud on his porch was the first image this whole fic was built around. that man can't be stopped, not when cloud is concerned 🥹
