Ahhhahahaha! Thank you! I absolutely love worldbuilding, it's my forte I think. This next chapter, I'm telling you, I learned a lot of things about the Listeners I didn't even know.... I think that's the coolest thing about writing. Sometimes I just place my hand on the keyboard and just record what the characters do.
The Listeners may have twisted the story, but so have the Watchers. They're enemies with a very, very long history of animosity towards each other. It's only natural that they'd slander each other's names all over the place. There was a point where Miesall said something along the lines of "Listeners convince people to kill themselves" which is... actually the most misguided thing he's ever said tbh. He was just a 19 or 20 year old who was talking about people he had never met. But calling Salt a monster was mean, yes. Honestly in my opinion, they both suck for their own reasons.
