I'm so glad the title works! I was worried it might be a little too flowery. It came to me along with the summary, when I was finally able to nail down in words why I wanted to write this AU to begin with.
Haha, were expecting a doll sized doll? That would have been super cute, but wouldn't work for this story I don't think. It's hard to have two characters feel like equals when one can pick the other up in one hand, and hard to have serious emotional situations when one of the characters is too tiny to be anything but cute. Getting fanart of this design already has absolutely blown me away, and- OH NO. I just realized I forgot to include links to the lovely fanart people made... I'll have to remember next chapter!!
