Comment on Saving People

Utterly! I don't think I'm quite that mean... Though if it happened, Cas would choose his Dean. Assuming it wouldn't erase future Dean or something to let past Dean die. Poor Cas.

    1. I mean, what a paradox! Both Dean's would die regardless, he just have to choose between the Dean he came with and the past Dean. Since this is time-travel, I would think if he saved future dean, and past dean died, then the future dean would die as well. Since he died in the past. You know?

Well, there's also the school of thought that alternate timelines coexist so that one can be changed without affecting all the others, in which case, past Dean could die and future Dean would continue to live, because they stopped being the same person the moment what past Dean lived through differed from what future Dean remembers. Then, well, whole new ball game!

        1. Oh yea! Like a different universe kind of deal? The moment Dean stepped out of his time and back into the past and changed course to the future, it became a whole new universe? I always forget that string of theory.

Gosh I love talking about this kind of stuff!

Yep, I think that's what this will have to be - there's no way things are going to turn into a loop so present!Dean becomes future!Dean, so.
