Me coming back to chew on this again .... I'm curious when the Watchers threw the Evo crew into the void in terms of the overall timeline. Martyn said they were living at other area for a while.... Specifically curious if it was before or maybe just after Grian's big ceremony in XR. Like were the Watchers keeping the other Evo members almost as backups...?
It happened sometime after the ceremony. I'd like to think they spent 6 months - 2 years there after Grian left to start his training. Their disappearance didn't quite line up with the ceremony though, and I wouldn't call them back ups. More of a ... "let's have people here to entertain this human. But now he's gone so... what was the point of having them here again?" kind of thing... I think. Haven't written that far yet (some character motivations and events surprise me as I'm writing), but that's the vibe I get from the Great Ones. Why Martyn and the others in particular, that's what I really need to figure out.
Well I’m a very curious person who wants to know everything about even the strangest things if I’m obsessed with something. Unless in the case of spoilers, I feel obligated giving what I have lol.
