Love this development in their relationship! Great story, this is the type of pairing you don’t often see Robb with, usually if stories are written where he marries a Frey, she is not so connected to the enemy ie the Lannisters. It adds a frisson that makes the plot super interesting! Really enjoyed the conversation between Catelyn and Jo. So often Catelyn is depicted as simply rash and stupid, but the way you have written her, it makes her much more sympathetic and nuanced as a character. Which she is of course! Also the fact that in this story Robb did actually hold up his end of the bargain with the Freys, casts Catelyn’s actions in freeing Jaime in a much more manageable light. It does not seem quite so calamitous, since it’s not heaping one disaster on top of an existing one. Looking forward to the next instalment!
