      Very much a Blockbuster and Chill era! I'm glad that you picked up on that too, that's exactly how I imagined things going. XD I believe in Tale of the Body Thief Lestat actually talks about Louis coming over to his place to watch movies sometimes and it cracked me up the first time I read it because my immediate thought was "Ah yes, Netflix and Chill".

      Regarding email, I think it was a thing but not particularly common. Really I assume Lestat would have it because he's wealthy and likes the idea of the latest and greatest sometimes even though he isn't great about actually using or keeping up with technology. Louis on the other hand barely uses electricity so I probably shouldn't have assumed he would have an email account at this point. XD
