    Finally!!!! It's so rare to find a fanfic where Laena is a relevant character, and it's even rarer to find one where she's the protagonist, where the story revolves around her.

    She's a minor character in the book, and HOTD did very little to give her any screen time or more in-depth characterization, so for me, as a fan of the character, it's a relief when I find stories that are about her.

    I'm not a huge fan of Daemon (and I've been hating him this season), so seeing her fight with him and treat him like an annoyance is so relatable, and it's well-deserved given everything she went through when she was married to him and everything she saw in her life afterlife.

    Her returning to Driftmark a year early (and alive) will certainly bring some changes in the tides. I'm looking forward to seeing where this story goes ❤️🔥

      Laena is my favorite so I’m so happy to find another person who loves her!! She will definitely be rewriting her story and I’m excited to write it for her 🥹
