    ted is so correct in that summer ac in america is ~the worst~

    i love how you immediately jump right on in with all the stark differences between being back in america vs england. i've definitely pictured that it'll be a tough adjustment for him.

    SO fascinating that as he's kinda thinking about the areas he is excelling in, he lists their group chat rather than the relationship itself!!

    god i could quote the last quarter of this chapter back to you but i specifically LOVE the way you did this:
    "and actually, just last night they’d talked about—

    Rebecca. It happens fast, the way she takes over the screen like a vision."
    The stylistic choice works sooo well, i love love love the way that Ted gets distracted right out of his thoughts by her. I love that in his mind -- even while she probably remembers that first presser very differently -- she was protecting him at that first presser.

      I absolutely loved hearing your response to the meandering thoughts Ted experiences as he waits for the presser. And don’t worry, while he may be aware of the subreddits discussing Roy’s impending leadership, I don’t think he’s gone fully down the online rabbit hole. <3
