    Fanfiction is beauty.
    I think its ironic, Padme talking about rebellions like an Imperial, when she is one of the founders of the latter Rebel Alliance.

          Incidentally, one funny thing about the Separatists is that when I was a kid, I used to think that the Commerce Guilds were called the "Comma skills." It's the way Natalie Portman pronounces it. She makes it sound like "comma skills."

            There's nothing wrong with that; I mean, when I was a kid, I used to watch the Star Trek Movies, like, constantly. I didn't understand why the Klingon bird of prey flew around the sun until I was older.

              In a similar vein, when I watched AOTC on VHS as a kid, I never saw where Padme's blaster in the arena battle came from. Watching the widescreen DVD as an adult, I can see that she picks it up off the ground.

                I always thought she looked great with a blaster. I wonder what happened to that streak, it seemed to have vanished during the Clone Wars.

                  Yes. If memory serves, the only time she gets hands on in The Clone Wars is when she operates the Twilight's guns in Destroy Malevolence.
