    Ok so I’ve written this comment TWICE, but for some reason it always deletes itself before I send.
    I LOVE the way you write Lamina, you’re insanely good at drawing in people and immersing them through emotions. I tend to be a very emotional person so maybe I’m biased but I LOVE how truly emotional Lamina is, both in the series and in your fic!!
    Ok so on to my thoughts on the fic!! It’s so fun to write comments on fics cause it really does feel like a little book club!! <3 Lamina my heart, she’s so !!!!! Even in her most hopeful, she believes she and Treech are doomed. She knows that she’s not the type of person who’s able to do this, she’s resigned in a way to her fate but she wants even a little bit of comfort while she can via Treech staying with her.
    Even knowing she wants Treech to stay, she knows it’s better for him if he goes. She stays hopeful but she’s so resigned!! The payoff from when Treech says no is such a relief!! Since Lamina can’t know the inside of his head, it leaves the reader to not know either so him choosing her truly comes as a relief!!
    I know it’s meant as an insult but I truly do adore Lamina being called a crybaby. Yeah she’s crying!! Of course she’s crying. She knows she’s likely going to die! Everyone she’s sees who’s so full of life is going to die!!!! Treech, who’s she’s potentially know all her life (even if just in passing) is likely going to die!! And then to top it all off, they’re dying not because it’s nature, but for sport! For the amusement of Panem they have doomed children. I enjoyed this fic immensely so far!!!       Oof I forgot to respond T-T that’s terrible of me I’m so sorry.
      My favorite part about Lamina is that she’s emotional without being portrayed as weak, so I’m glad the emotions are coming through. I really love this fic and I look forward to posting the next few chapters, especially because Treech and Lamina finally get to figure themselves out!
      Both Treech and Lamina know one of them has to die, so they’re really struggling with that even after they’ve made up their minds about getting the other out haha, but I won’t spoiler what’s gonna happen ;)
