    Oh my goodness - Thank you for these comments!!!! I read these the other morning and it gave me such a boost I churned out most of another chapter so that’ll probably be dropping soon, I hope you’re proud 😂

    Ok just gonna go point by point here lol. You caught so many of the little things that were just so crunchy to write and that makes me so happy! CLU’s “favorite scars” thing is particularly crunchy and I’m for sure excited to get into that deeper, the arena scene was definitely on the brutal side and had soooo many implications, I’m glad you enjoyed that. Their dynamic is hella toxic and poor Rinzler is just so submissive and shut down, CLU’s really gotten him all torn up.

    And the part about overcoming programming, he’s so lost in all this it’s hard to recognize what that action was at all, but there’s still some question to whether or not that was free will too - Is “fight for the users” free will? 👀

    Hehe I’m so glad you enjoyed all those angsty snippets and glimpses into Rinzler’s head here. He’s just reeling so badly, all this damaged programming and obedience and directives and memory fragments all churned up, it’s a good thing he’s got Beck there to help sort it out. For so long he’s been told what to do, not getting to want or care about anything himself, and the prospect of letting yourself have that back is so daunting, especially when you don’t even know who you are or how you got here. The boy needs a nap.
