    Well there are rumors of Rhaenyra and Harwin.

    I wonder if there would be confusion that Laenor and Alicent ended up in a secret relationship. We all know how easy these signs are to be misinterpreted in a medieval world. Corelys and Rhaenys would be very confused.
    It's some kind of revenge from Laenor, because Rhaenyra cheated on him. And Viserys protected some bastards who pretend to be his grandchildren. And also revenge from Laenor to Viserys for stealing the throne from his mother.

    Oh boy....

    If Percy shows a natural talent at sea, like creating such wonderful ships as Galleons, compasses etc... It's possible that many consider that he has Velaryon blood.

    Imagine the look on Rhaenyra's face. She is technically usurping her brother Aegon, so Alicent is usurping Drifmark by showing Dareon. The worst thing is the more Alicent and Laenor deny it, the more people will think it's real lol.

    Other more benign rumors are that the child is of the Blood of Alyssa Velaryon queen of the Seven Kingdoms, mother of Jaehaerys and Alyssane. A sign of justice by Alyssa the queen against Rhaenyra.

    There would even be Valaena Velaryon, mother of Aegon the Conqueror and wife of Aerion Targaryen, mother of Queens and Kings. The most benign (or malignant for Rhaenyra) rumors will say that Valaena and Alyssa support Alicent from heaven.

    The mothers who gave birth to the greatest Kings give their full support to Alicent.

    Alicent might surprisingly get a lot of support if people think she's the new Alyssa Velaryon (Targaryen) and Valaena Velaryon. And I don't doubt Otto will exploit many of these rumors.

      If the Velaryon's are black, no one can think he is Laenor's because he would be darker.

      Don't know why they made then black in the show, because you can try to say the strong bastards got the arryn ( the arryn's had baby blue eyes I think) or baratheon blood (black hair, blue eyes and a straight nose) but what about the skin colour? It should be a mix between the parents, and there are 2 twins that show what a child of a targaryen and a velaryon ( who is Laenor's sister) will look like. No wonder people say dance of the dragons was the worst thing the author wrote because it doesn't make sense in a medieval world for lords to stand for it, at least Jeffrey looked like Cercei. 🙄

      Sometimes I think I live in a paralel universe.

      But even if people tell these rumors, Vizzy T can't say anything without incriminating his spoiled daughter's children too.

      Imagine Percy swimming with dolfins and sharks and sailing a boat who is suspiciously stronger and faster than it shoud be.

        Even if Viserys said something, a civil war would start. Rhaenys and Corelys would go crazy if they think that Aegon, Helaena, Aemond and Dareon are their grandchildren and Viserys threatens them or their mother.

        Of course, that is if they really believed that they are their grandchildren hahahahaha.

          If they believe it, it will be with Daeron.

          And I see Laenor having a good relationship with his parents, so if they ask he will tell them that no he isn't the dad.

      You know…I didn’t even think about there possibly being rumors of Laenor and Alicent having an affair 🤣. In a different life, perhaps 😄.

      I think a lot of Daeron’s seafaring traits were just attributed to the constant intermarriages between the Targaryens and Velaryons. And with rumors of Laenor being gay, Corlys was more interested in getting another betrothal secured as a backup plan.

        These would be rumors from the Middle Ages, they were quite real.

        There is even an episode where Varys mentions this, I think. And to confirm the truth, I expected all his agents to give the same version of events.

        Actually, I consider it possible that these rumors are real. But since Laenor was in impossible places for Alicent to have her children, they would be discarded little by little.

        But that could create a bigger gap between Velaryon and Targaryen. Because Dareon looks like the grandson that Corelys and Rhaenys would have wanted.

        Perhaps Corelys will curse himself, not to marry Alicent to Laenor. Since the woman has fulfilled her duty, to the point that in one of her children the blood of Queen Alyssa Velaryon shines strongly.
