    Jane being a blood prejudiced Hufflepuff is such a strange combination… I can see how growing up in a family that holds those beliefs would influence her own, but I feel like to have the traits of a Hufflepuff but also be prejudiced is an oxymoron. I hope Vera see’s through that behavior and doesn’t let Jane isolate her from making more friends. That being said, I LOVE THIS STORY!!!

      Thank you! Jane is indeed a complex, multi-layered character that I created to illustrate a key idea: prejudice is learned, not innate.
