    I love your idea about an SI Gael who is going to be her own person and not just a tragic figure. I also love the choice of Gael bonding with Silverwing - she is a great, often overlooked dragon that was actually one of the few draconic survivors of the Dance. Looking forward to more.

      Ooh yeah, it's always gonna be Silverwing. Even our SI was side-eyeing that dragon her whole life. She legit pre-orders Silverwing. +That's also the only Dragon that's available at that moment, the timing also aligned for her (Old Jae not being in Dragonstone, so he couldn't stop her, +Alysanne just died, so she grabbed the chance with both her hands, Aemond style)

      Yes she's often overlooked, but not anymore. She'll be a constant present in this fic, more than anyone else (except maybe the SIGael)

        Also love the fact that you either have Alysanne asking Gael to claim Silverwing (that or Gael claiming she said that, if it was high valyrian who will dispute it?). That way Jaehaerys can't even really be mad at Gael for claiming a dragon when she wasn't supposed to as it supposedly was his wife's last wish.

        Wondering how Aegon III will be around as in canon? Suspect some fuckery and changes going on there. Especially if Gael does end up with Daemon eventually (as the pairings in the description seem to suggest. Perhaps an Aegon III that is believed to be a legitimate son of Laenor but is in fact Rhaenyra's son with Daemon?? Just throwing things out here). Very curious as to how this ends up. Especially with Gael and Corlys as Regents, especially if Gael still has a dragon. That makes for a drastically different post dance political landscape as the Targs wouldn't have nearly lost as much power with a large dragon like silverwing still around to burn any dissenters.

          Why do you want daemon to cheat on gael ? to produce that prince that was promised dna? That dna runs in daemon and and rhaenrya's blood so new child who carries that line can also be born from daemon/gael and rhaenrya/whoever is father of the child's lineage. I absolutely hate cheating in fics . I hope rhaenrya/daemon never happens if daemon/gael are endgame

            I don't want them to cheat at all. Just that in the first chapter it was written as Gael (together with Corlys) being regent for Aegon III ("Lord Corlys gave his first hand accounts to the princess, when the two were regents of King Aegon III Targaryen"). So either Aegon still gets born somehow. Or Aegon III has different parents. I was wondering who his parent's would be in that case/how it was happening.
