Thank you. <3 There are very few things I've spent as long waiting and yearning to write as this. Though I attempted a first draft back in March, I ended up rewriting it almost entirely when the time came for all of this to truly happen. For one thing, I had forgotten back then that Capella and Murky would also be at the Polyhedron. In the original version, that confrontation was solely between Artemy and Khan. Personally, I like it far more this way.
And when it comes to Murky, both Nara and Artemy loved her in their own ways. It felt right for that love, in particular, to survive, even if it's unclear whether it was a vestigial reflex or still held anything like its own true shape.
