      So I have gone through my OTP plot bunny pile and here are a couple. If you are interested in other Discworld characters or want something more *cough* adult. Let me know.

      *Sam and Sybil pillow talk (can be regular pillow talk or a talk about pillows)
      *Sam and Sybil go on a conventional date and Sam winds up arresting someone at every stop.
      *Sam and Sybil run into Mavis Trouncer
      *Ala Julie & Julia, Sam and Sybil have lunch or tea together on a regular basis and sexy time is planned. (Can happen or can be interrupted by Watch, Young Sam, dragon mishap, and/or Vetinari).

       

      Ones that might end up stories if you don't pounce on them.
      *Masked ball where Sybil dresses like Morporkia. No one recognizes her as Lady Sybil.
      *Hello my name is - series of first person one-shots from the various support groups in Ankh-Morpork (if you want to collaborate on this let me know).
      *The first and last time Vetinari sends his gentlemen in black (the ones that pick up Moist in Making Money/Raising Steam) to fetch Vimes.

      These always sound way cooler in my head and I have too many stories mapped out rght now for Sam and Sybil. Let me know if you have any plot bunnies you would like to see developed into a story. I am on tumblr at dharmageek if you want to PM for email or skype contact info.

        Hi! Wow some great bunnies here, I'm loving the Mavis Trouncer one, I'll have a think around that one to get inspiration going :)
        I've always pondered over the situation in Jingo where they are on the commandeered boat in pursuit of Angua and the Captain makes remarks about Lady Sybil (if it was her the boat would be lower in the water etc) but Vimes doesn't really respond. I've never really known what to make of that incident.
        A collab sounds great too, we can definitely pencil one in.

          Hi! My goodness, thank you for that plot bunny it is perfect. I have always wondered about that scene. It works into a side story for the next chapter of Right of First Refusal because I am torn on how Sam reacts to Sybil in public. You have scenes like that one and then in later books, he goes out of his way not to draw attention to her.

          Sir Reynold: "Lady Sybil is fantastic, Did you see that thing she did?"
          Vimes: "Yes, yes, Lady Sybil. Oh look, over there a crime. Let's pay attention to that shall we?" Paraphrased from Thud.

          From the outside, one might think that he just puts up with her, which feeds into the rumor mill that he only married her for her money.

          If you have any other spare bunnies running around let me know :) I can't wait to see what you up with regarding Mavis Trouncer.

            Oooh I'm glad you like the bunny, another one I have is a 'basket-eye view' of things (Sam/Sybil, or vetinari incompetently losing chance after chance with Sybil) according to Wuffles.
            Or the OTP meet....but they're married to other people! Dun, dun, DUN!
            A lighter one could be Sybil's thoughts the first time she returns to Pseudopolis Yard. Or Rust having an unintentionally personal argument with Vimes in the Rat's Chamber after the Privy Council tried to take control of Vimes's men in Jingo. (Along the lines of "you may have married Lady Sybil but you will never be a gentleman" tries to infer he knows her better.)
            I'm more inspired than I thought!

              These are fantastic! Thank you for sharing.I love the first one and I am so going to use it. I have a story setting up the year of Sam/Sybil in the friendzone and I was having trouble figuring out how to narrate it.
              The OTP meet and they are married to other people, I have little of coming up. I always have trouble with it because it changes the dynamic of the City and supporting cast so much. But I will happily put it with the other bunnies to see if anything spawns.
              I like the Pseudopolis Yard. I have a similar plot bunny with Rust though it extends a bit beyond Sybil and goes into why they have spinning housemaids at Ramkin Manor. My only concern is it is OC heavy (Lady Olgivanna and Lord Joshua Ramkin). These are great inspiration, thank you so much :)

                Thanks for the shout out! I'm honoured with your recommendation! I'll PM you on tumblr and perhaps we can collab or at least throw some ideas around - there are plenty :D
                I do have a Sam/Sybil married to others plot bunny but it's very dark....ultimately a happy ending but but it's not a fic I could start and then put on hiatus in the future. I am trying to get more work done on my unfinished fics but I want to get them right which is taking a little time.
                Can't wait to see more bunnies ;)
